AI that lives where you work

Privacy Policy

Effective April 4, 2026
Short versionDomain and Doma work inside your existing conversations, so the product necessarily processes messages, participant metadata, and context from the chats where you use it. We use that information to power memory, summaries, introductions, routing, and other product features — not to sell your data, and not to train third-party AI models on your conversations.

Information We Collect

  • Account and contact data: your display name, phone number, username, chat identifiers, and any email address or LinkedIn URL you choose to provide.
  • Conversation data: messages, attachments, timestamps, participant lists, and thread or group context from the spaces where Doma is present.
  • Product interaction data: prompts, commands, feedback, joins, form submissions, and usage signals that help us improve reliability and understand feature use.

Professional Profile Enrichment

If you provide an email address or LinkedIn URL, we may use People Data Labs or similar professional-data providers to enrich your profile with publicly available work information. We use this only to make Doma more useful — for example, to personalize introductions, context, and onboarding — and you can ask us to correct or delete enriched profile data at any time.

SMS Communications

If you opt in to SMS notifications, we collect your phone number solely to deliver the messages you requested. SMS is optional and not required to use the service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to our number or by telling Doma to stop sending SMS. For help, text HELP.

How We Use Your Information

  • Operate Doma inside your chats and respond to direct requests.
  • Maintain memory and context across conversations you participate in.
  • Generate summaries, introductions, suggestions, and other product features.
  • Debug the service, prevent abuse, and improve product quality and reliability.
  • Communicate with you about access, onboarding, or support if you submit your information through the site.

AI Model Providers

Doma may send relevant conversation excerpts or profile context to third-party model providers that power the product, such as Anthropic, in order to generate responses and features. We do not permit those providers to use your data to train their models where such controls are available, and our intent is to use them only as processors on our behalf.

How Context Sharing Works

Doma is designed to use context across the conversations you are part of. That means information you share in one Doma-enabled thread may inform Doma’s behavior in another thread that includes you. We do not intend for Doma to expose your information to participants who were not part of the relevant conversation unless you explicitly bring that context forward or the product flow makes that sharing clear.

Who Can Access Data

Domain team members and trusted service providers may access stored data when necessary to operate, secure, support, or debug the product. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect users, the service, or the public.

Retention

We keep conversation history, profile data, and product records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain continuity, and support users, unless a longer retention period is required by law. We do not currently promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule.

Your Choices

  • You can ask Doma to forget you, delete your memories, or remove enriched profile data.
  • You can stop using Doma at any time by removing it from a conversation or ceasing to message it.
  • If you believe information about you is inaccurate, contact us and we’ll correct or remove it where appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Domain is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
